mdpress software package provides creation of Impress.js slideshows with Markdown, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mdpress
mdpress is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mdpress package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mdpress *
You will get with mdpress package name, version, architecture and description in a table
